Recently, the Financial Services Commission issued an interpretation stating that "YouTubers who share affiliate links to overseas exchanges can be considered as cryptocurrency businesses", the activities of domestic referral-based content producers have been generally dampened.

"This will make it virtually impossible for most domestic creators to operate," said Inbeom, founder of Buckscoin (BGSC), and formalized the construction of a global expansion model based on countries with clear regulations.

Mr. Inbeom said that this is not just an evasive tactic, but a system designed to allow content distribution and monetization within the system. The company said it will continue its global content model in a way that meets legal requirements.

Inbum and the core Buckscoin team are currently in Dubai working on the ground, and will return to Singapore after the two-week program. The official YouTube channel, INBUMTV, will also return soon.

✍️ Author's Perspective

This isn't just an offshore move to avoid domestic regulation, but rather a strategy to realize a sustainable Web3-based revenue ecosystem for content creators and communities within the system.

In particular, securing a legal infrastructure in Dubai, including a VARA license, signals that Buckscoin is becoming more than just a token project, but a content ecosystem with the ability to a sign that BuckScoins is growing beyond a token project into a policy-responsive content ecosystem.

Personally, I think it's better to understand it as "protecting ourselves from legal uncertainty and evolving our token project to fit into a legal framework" rather than "leaving South Korea".
